Christopher Hovorka, MS, CPO, LPO, FAAOP was one of several contributors to the article on “The Five Things You Need to Know” (in O&P), published on-line in the December 2007 issue of the O&P Almanac.
The MSPO program was awarded a research grant to conduct an investigation comparing the performance a new knee orthosis created by Bauerfeind to other commercially available knee orthoses. Christopher Hovorka, MS, CPO, LPO, FAAOP and Mark Geil, PhD, who is director of the Biomechanics Lab at Georgia State University served as co-investigators on the research. The results of the investigation will be reported in a future paper and scientific meeting.
