MSPO alumni and faculty honored: Rebecca Spragg (MSPO 2008) MSPO, CO and Aaron Smith (MSPO clinical faculty won the New Investigator Research Award for their investigation entitled, “Natural progression of non-synostotic plagiocephaly”. Rebecca and Aaron presented their research at the 2009 Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC) at the May 2009 meeting in Tempe Arizona.
Sixth MSPO Class Graduates! – The MSPO class of 2009 graduated with the award of the Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics degree. There was a student recognition reception hosted by the School of Applied Physiology in the afternoon prior to the Institute’s graduation ceremony. Mission Trip to Belize – Robert Kistenberg, MPH, CP, LP, FAAOP led MSPO students from the class of 2010 ( Keven Dunn, DeLana Finney, and Taavy Miller ) to provide prosthetic and orthotic services at Project Hope Belize, located in Orange Walk Town, Belize.
