P&O at Georgia Tech Faculty Helps Direct College/University Sustainability Workshop: Geza Kogler, Research Scientist and faculty in P&O at Georgia Tech co-coordinated the Orthotic and Prosthetic Educator Summit entitled, “Building Sustainable Education Programs”. The summit was conducted in St. Petersburg, Florida and was attended by representatives of all clinician and technician O&P education programs in the United States. Details of the summit initiatives and outcomes were published in the December 2010 issue of the O&P Edge magazine.
School of Applied Physiology on the Move: The School of Applied Physiology will begin preparing to move from its current locations at Weber/Space Science Technology and Centennial Research Building. All programs (except Prosthetics and Orthotics) will move to the new building on 14th Street in December, 2010. P&O will move all of its facilities from Weber/Space Science Technology to the the new 14th Street building in March 2011.
