Prosthetics and Orthotics at Georgia Tech faculty Geza Kogler participated as co-organizer for the Prosthetic & Orthotic Educators Symposium held at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, FL. The symposium focused on coordinating initiatives to enhance education program collaborations and sustainability.
The MSPO Program welcomes the class of 2012. The Orientation Week activities concluded with the annual white coat ceremony in which the faculty and staff as well as the MSPO class of 2011 welcomed the incoming MSPO students. The students received the keynote address by the president of the Georgia Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists, Matthew Nelson, CPO, LPO, were welcomed by the director of the MSPO program, Christopher Hovorka and received a welcome address by the chair of the School of Applied Physiology, Richard Nichols. All incoming students recognized and adopted the practitioner’s oath. See pictures here.
