On April 2 the first annual Prosthetics and Orthotics Wearable Technology Award was presented at the 63rd Georgia Science and Engineering Fair held in Athens, Georgia. The award was presented to Anand Srinivasan, a freshman student from Roswell High School for his research entitled, “Doc Ock- Applications of EEG Technology toward Prosthetics”. Anand’s research was selected as the best project in the senior division that enhances the capabilities of persons with physical challenge caused by trauma, disease, or congenital disorder.
The award consists of a plaque, a check in the amount of $250.00, and an invitation to visit the Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Applied Physiology. Click here to see picture of Anand receiving the award from Christopher Hovorka, Co-Director of the MSPO Program.
