Ultimate Halloween Extreme Makeover 2003 – The first ever extreme makeover allowed students to gain hand fabrication skills while distorting the appearance of a classmate. Richard Welling won the chance to have his face casted this year. His colleagues then “modified” his look and made masks out of polyethylene. See the Shrek-like mask in the photo.
New Class – In August our second class of students started the program. This addition of nine students brings our total to 14.
Labs Open – The new Prosthetic and Orthotic Fabrication Labs at the Center for Prosthetic and Orthotic Research and Education are open and in active use supporting the MSPO program.
